hi all,
didnt know where to put this topis so i thought ill put it in here.
im looking at getting a territory turbo in the next 18 months.
does anyone know if the internals are exactley the same as the xr6t and can the 6 speed auto hold up to power up grades as these would soon follow me getting one.

The internals should be the same, however it only has a top mounted cooler, so I wonder if it will suffer from heatsoak.
Hmm... the AWD driveline might struggle to hold power... I remember that being the problem with the coupe4, awesome car, good handling, can't mod it cos u'll break the box and there's no alternative.

Yep I read an article about it today. Apparentely as Soulfire said pretty much same engine transplanted except for top-mount cooler.

AWD is fine,

nizpro transplanted an xr6t motor into an AWD territory and it held somewhere around 450kw and a low 12/ high 11 pass, cant remember the number.

really, sweet. yeah that would be one of the first things i would do. is just put a decent front mount on and just boost it a bit on the stock turbo. should give it a bit more kick in the guts. and of course have a fiddle with the computer

11.7 it ran, i am pretty sure it was silver and had 22" chrome rims.
cooler and an edit would be a bit of fun in a turbo territory

There are a few guys on AFF that have the new TT ... and have seen decent gains with Exhaust, Intake, injectors and Edit.

I think Horsepower Factory ran a high 13 on theirs with just an Edit (no other mods).

TT engine is identical to the XR6T ... just has top-mount cooler.

i dont see a prob with the AWD as i have 1 at work and took it for a road test , and some clown in a R8 tryed to give me a run . poor bastard found out it is really hard to change lanes when there is this boxie 4wd there doing same speed as him . mind you there was a parked ca further ahead and thought he would be a hero , but nar i cant see any diff between the ghia turbo to a XR6t , they both take off and drive the same but i did find that the auto has adaptive shift too ( 6spd )

AWD 4-sp has adaptive shift as well.
wet weather twisty road driving is fun indeed.
Motorbikes have to get out of my way on the old road ... in the wet at least. Sometimes in the dry as well on some of the bend they get a tad worried that I am still all over them ... straight line they nick off ... but back in the rougher twisties I am back all over them again.
