To make Walkinshaws graph more meaningful perhaps I should include a dyno run for a YZ250, as it is a 2 stroke and has no cam at all it would provide us with a control sample.

Are these cams re-ground or billets?? If re-ground they need to be shimmed which is apita to do..

I don't know about you guys but after reading ppl's comments and looking at the dyno graphs, I am starting to think the 1634 is a bit of a dud. Or is it that we havent seen a good back-to-back test yet.
Also could anyone get that 1560a to idle? With an aftermarket ECU it should be right yes?

With an aftermarket ECU it should be right yes? a decent back to back test should give a better indication. dyno and 1/4 times are really whats needed. i know of a few cars with 1521a's, and the idle isnt that bad. aftermarket ECU would deffinately help though.

That graph being different cars let alone different models with also unspecified mods apart from the cam means i think it should be taken with a grain of salt. I do believe with my 1604 that power above around 4500 drops off a fair bit though, but then I have a tight gas mixer and a clogged k&n so you should take my opinion with a grain of salt

I would be suprised if the 1604 or even the 1636 for that matter really lift peak power much at all. But they do none the less provide a healthy torque increase and certainly a better 0-100 time (can only speak for the 1604)

That graph shows an auto ford in 2nd gear. JonBays with just extractors and exhaust put out 115rwkws. Where is the power?
Assuming my lack of trust in dynos..I think it needs to be timed to give you a better indication of power increase. This is what counts.

What you have to remember is :-
1, I have an auto that will go into limp mode unless I change the torque converterand I am not changing it just yet, I change gears enough in a s**t Toyota van every day. 2, I wanted something with more grunt than the 1604 cam. 3, For now solution is 1634 or 1004 with 114 phase angle 4, Oh by the way Grechie I didnt ask what gear the dyno was done in, dont try and give me s**t unless you have gone and PAID for a DYNO yourself....

Ive added a stock dyno run.
The stock dyno run is the EXACT same car as the 1521a, done on the same dyno.
