Pretty sure there was a VC/VH 2.85 ltr (6cyl) and a 1.9 ltr (4cyl) and it barely moved.

I've seen em in the wreckers, they bring a smile of stupidity to my face.

my Mate had one of those in their VC Bombadore, it wasent a powerfull engine it wasent even a very economical engine (for a 4cyl) but it was rather a tough little engine which out lived 2 gearboxes (1 auto 1 manuel) 3 clucthes a fuel tank and a radiator, oh they lived out in the bush BTW.

as for the 3.2ltr coon, imho a MPFI conversion might prove interesting, ported/flowed heads - X$, an off the shelf stg4 cam - X$, the look on people faces when you tell them your doing up a 3.2ltr Falcon.......Pricless

they would be an interesting engine to put in an off road buggy,
with the revs you could make them do.

not a great deal of torque so i wouldn't consider one for a street car.
but an off road buggy say a front engine setup, 5 speed and a 4.11:1 diff,
2 seats, would be a tough little weekend fun machine

Here are some interesting facts -
Compare the bore:stroke for a 3.2 EA and RB26DETT (GTR engine) - 1.15:1 vs 1.16:1 (compared to 0.92:1 for the 3.9)

Weight of EA = 1418kg
Weight of GTR = 1530kg

Work that 3.2, boost it up = a turbo falcon that can rev like a GTR, has more cubes, and is lighter.

Just need to work out the 4wd setup...

(BTW: I am in no way saying that a 3.2 EA is better that a GTR - please dont flame me)

thats exactly the sort of thing people over look,
a high reving 3.2 turbo would be tough car to beat

(again not saying it is a GTR killer,)

Yeah, it would be tough. It would also be NOTHING like a Falcon.

I wonder how many 3.2ltr are actually still road registered? All but extinct I would think..... Even seeing an EA altogether is becoming a rare thing.

Does anyone on the forums have a 3.2??
