Hahahahh ...I found the problem after heaps of research!!!
The AU falcon has an ignition system called wasted spark ignition or EDS. This system fires 2 cylinders at once!!! It fires a positive spark through plug 1 from the electrode to ground.. and that spark travells through the metal in the head to spark plug 6 from gound to the centre electrode and back to the coil !!! The timing light shows timing changes and it looks like a misfire. However I did discover that my injectors which have been cleaned by Liverpool Nssan,a mechanic friend and ford are stuffed !!! Thus causing the erratic timing light readings and poor idle. Where can I buy a new set of injectors? Since they had been cleaned my fuel economy has died.

Ive seen about 4 peoples TopGun leads just pull right away from the jacket, not saying it will happen to everyone, but i would say from what ive seen and read 3-4 out of 5 people on here and FordForums have had a bad experience with them. I wouldnt touch them knowing they are going to fall apart - get your hard earned money back mate.

Nope..he wont be looking at my car despite a quick hello. My cousin owns a wreckers up in Smithfield so ill be talking to him.I used to wreck cars many years ago and will be sorting my cars issues because I love doing it. I even know how to dial a cam properly after some reading material. You can change settings to suit your needs.

Most especially if your on gas you definately need spiral core leads.. I run Queensland Ignition Leads (9mm Spiral Cores). Previously i was running Eagle F1 9mm Spiral Cores.. the Queesland Ignition Leads found to be slightly better and for the same price why the hell not!. Joe from Crescent Motorsports is the NSW Distributor for them here so give him a call and mention your from FM (02) 9600-6229. Make sure you get decent leads, genuine schmenuine, you want something that'll last and is good quality regardless of the product Heheh thanks Fusion ...I know Joe quite well since dyno day ..the guy is a star. I nipped up the road and got 3 leads to check the 3 problem ones and it still occured. Today I went and bought a coil pack.I really believe it is the coil pack. The spark especially on lead 3 dissapears occasionally and the engine stutters at the same time. Thanks for the help guys it is refreshing to see all the advice ..thanks heaps.

Try disconnecting your shift kit first, you're trying to trace the prob. see if it helps.

The problem was solved a while back. I had a bad coil pack. Also the lifters were giving me grief by not giving full lift and causing missing.
