Neons are legal in WA, so long as the bulb or lighting equipment is not visible under the car. (this was printed in Perth Street car) also make sure your wheels arent wider than 8 inches, your suspension, lights, seatbelts, and exhaust.
they can and often will be pricks. if you have wide wheels on, borrow someobne elses for the day. and pod filters must be enclosed, if its out in the open your gonna get stung, if the car came with an airbox, you gotta keep the airbox.
