HELP-i have a 97' 6 cyl fairlane with cooling problems,my thermo fans dont work except when air con is on and then only one fan works - can someone tell me is this a faulty thermo fan switch?or something else.

More than likely faulty relays.....

there is a relay block behind the left headlight (from memory?) where the fan relays are....... try swapping them out and testing it.
