the whole car. not a pretty one though, has a jumped on roof and a nice square hole punched from the inside out in the sump
but good for accessories etc.

Maybe that would be a better option for me, the wreckers whom I am dealing with are giving me a discount on parts because of the ghia conversion I did a year ago. It will still cost me around $800

Modification update
Raptor Supercharger Now if I use an EL Manifold can I then have the Airconditioner mounted to an EL Bracket. I need my engine to be exactly the same as an EF/EL. The airconditioner is crucial as the Supercharger mounts to the bracket and Raptor is only made to suit EF/EL E'series, not EB/ED at this stage.

Okay, so if I get the EL Aircon unit and use it in conjunction with the EL manifold I can mount the airconditioning unit to my block directly, using the 3 spacers as mentioned?
I am unsure if the EB and the EL share the same block exactly (all bolt holes etc)? I can vaguely remember a friend using an EL Block to rebuild his ED which I assume means that the blocks are identical. If this is the case then i can bolt all EF/EL gear to my EB block. Is this Correct?

yep the mounting holes are the same..
you can mount the el aircon pump directly to the eb block and the same goes with the rest of the ascessories(power steer pump,alternator.belt tensioner ect..) |

Awesome, that works out very well for me.
Hopefully this thread can help others who are interesed in converting to serpentine/thermofans.
