is the coolant temp sensor your speaking of the one that people like to change to the 80ish degree instead of 90ish?

Nah, that's the thermostat.
Take out the oil pressure switch/sender, and clean the oil gallery in the switch with metho and a soft brush.

also, after getting an engine swap done, my exhaust seemed to rattle really bad at low revs, it didnt happen all the time, i usually noticed it more when it was running worse than usual, could this potentially be adding to my problem?

Im having trouble taking the BBM off, ive taken the airbox out, i have undone all the bolts that hold the BBM onto the head, ive unplugged most of the wiring loom, i cant get to the plugs undearneath the BBM yet, also there is what im guessing an earth wire connected to the bolt on the block thats holding the BBM support brace behind the A/C.. how do i undo that bolt without taking off the A/C?
And im having trouble getting the hoses off the fuel rail and fuel regulator. There is also a big square plug between injectors 5 and 6 that almost made it impossible to get behind, i ended up just pulling the fuel rail off to move the plug out of the way.. but i dont want to remove the fuel rail on the new BBM to get the plug back inbetween there? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. |

well theres 2 brackets bolted to the BBM one at front side of BBM one in rear near fuel lines ..i left fuel hoses on and cut the lines down under the chassie n re joined with alloy fuel line and clamps. i split my BBM in half so i could see all wires n plugs a bit better .theres wires near AC one grey i think and one circle plug also to coil pack etc and also circle plug onto the BBM near plastic hose fitting from rocket cover, dont forget them plugs as there easy to rip out if u forget to get them n just try pullin it off i replaced mine never had to touch A/C
