Anyone know of a thread on here regarding modifying the EF K-frame to fit an AU engine?
The sticky up the top isn't much chop, it's very very brief, and the pictures arn't working. Also, it's kind of contradictory - says there's two ways - modified sump or modified K-frame, but then says that's it's modified sump and modified K-frame in the picture... Looking for info re whether EF alternator, aircon, PS will bolt on, also the engine mounts, and the modifications required to the K-frame as I'd prefer not to play with the sump. |

Modifying the sump is a much easier, faster and cheaper option,
Modifying the K-frame can lead into vehical structure strength and can also be used to void an insurance claim if need be. No mods needed for the engine mounts, and a simple bracket would solve the ac pump, yet brings me to the conclusion, the supercharger, surely you've got expirience with brackets and other bits around this particular area! IIRC there was a doco posted on affau.

There's a fair bit of info in Troyman's thread that may be of help to you.

Nah, CAPA kit, adn I'll have to purchase a new bracket from them for the VCT belt system (different pulley set up and supercharger is mounted at different angle). |

Sweet, what output have you got from 9psi? I was hoping for around 9-12 when I do mine.... wondering what output your getting at the wheels.

Standard PD will be over reving if it's making more than 9psi. Dunno what it puts out at the moment. Not much - hence the reason I'm building up a new engine. |
