i have an el xr6 230*** km
i am getting great fuel results now that i have changed the o2 sensor. though i have had a little problem when driving and coming to a stop and i believe it is the throttle position sensor (TPS). when coming from a high speed to a stop the car doesn't seem to down gear at the right time and the rev's drop a little to must causeing it to stall sometimes and just idel a bit funny before it picks up the revs to normal. from my knowledge the TPS, tells the car when to down gear and to open up the throttle to the right amount, etc the car has all new leads, spark plugs, o2 sensor, shift kit and a new presure velve in the gear box, which is running great. i have cleaned the throttle body and the surrounding pieces. do you think its the throttle position sensor (TPS)?????????? |

Get a multimeter, and check the voltage of it at idle, If I recall correctly it should be 0.7, and I think 4.5 at WOT. Don't have the engine running when doing the WOT test
