Hey guys, whilst browsing my local autobarn i noticed an engine additive,
lifter cleaner, which is supposed to free up all the gunk around the lifters and make them quiet again, so i grabbed a bottle and chucked her in. We'll see how it goes!

lots of things that claim to be good really arent - i've seen "engine flush" treatmeants make a brand new BA blow black smoke after an oil change for quite somet ime... my money is on lifters, when these cars were new, the ford warranty guidelines said up to 10 minutes of ticking on a cold startup was acceptable |
