i have two ticky motors,1 has the T on front of head aswell as 93dt, the other has the T but thats it,anyone know why??also has a barcode sticker with RK 001956 4.0(tck)what does it mean any help please,barcode is on the block,right hand rear

if it has the big T on the front it can only have come from one place.

yeah but 1 has 93 dt aswell as the T and the other 1 has just the T.........any idea bout the barcode sticker on the block

I would say 93dt is the EB/ED head...the other the EF/EL head

they must both be tickford heads, unsure what years, as my EF tickford head has 94DT on the front aswell as the T.. But, eitherway, better than a stocker..

yeah they are both tickford engines,i got complete motors,the one in my car has shagged bottom end so im gonna swap over then rebuild my bottom end then swap back and prob keep the other in shed or sell it,the one i bought had the barcode on it two,no oil leaks barcode read RK 001956 4.0 m (TCK) any ideas what it is

afaik all tickford heads are the same just the 93dt or 94dt just defines what year it was made...
although i have seen a eb tickford head with the t cast on the head but it didnt have the 9?dt number

From what i know, the EB XR6 head was the best flowing of all the tickford heads.
Not by much, but still the best of them.
