Head off getting serviced, is it hard to replace the gasket behind the crankshaft pulley while im waiting?

picking up gasket kit tommorrow, was jsut wondering if i should grab a timing gasket with it

im assuming your talkin about the timing cover gasket, hope y ou realise you need a hramonic balancer puller to get it off not as simple as just turning the bolt yeah. if you have the case off prob better of doin everything in there replace chain and chain guides

no i don't have a harmonic balancer puller, it it a hard/expensive thing to get your hands on?

Use a good gasket sealant on the timing cover gasket and clean the surfaces well.
I used permatex gasket seal a brown liquid and an artists bruch to apply it. I clean all surfaces after residual gasket has been removed with acetone as it contains no oil and is a good cleaner, works for me.
