Hi Guys
Have any of you got suggestions on how to get wires though the firewall where the original engine loom comes out? I'd like to get a fair few wires out through there but is it possible without taking the dash out? Cheers Simon

I use fencing wire (the reasonably stiff type), run the wiring you want along the front inch or 2 of the wire and wrap it up with some race tape (or equivelent) and poke it through. May have to put a small nick in the boot to get it through.

I usually cut a coat hanger and straighten it out or use a bit of welding wire. Poke the wire through the gromet and depending on how tight the fit is, a bit of tape and silicone spray might do the job. If not, I generally solder some of the harness wiring to the coat hanger with a bit of acid core solder and then tape and a some spray lube. Once you get the first bit through the rest is easy.

I managed to fit stereo wiring through there but when it came to air horn air hose wiring/hose I ended up just drilling my own hole...I found with the original grommet if you just kept shoving it'll go through

Cheers for that guys! I got a whole other loom to get through there, fingers crossed!
Wouldn't mind cleaning up the original loom but I don't want to go chopping s**t up.

If on the passenger side, I found you can get wires through the vacuum hose portal. It's where the hoses go inside to the a/c to make the vents work.
