If you want good times at the drags, a highstall will give you the launch you need for the job to put you ahead of the manuals, to what degree depends on your expected drivability around the streets.

If your serious about getting that launch time decreased then go for it. I dont see the justification in one if your not a "Hardcore" Racer.

hey JMM reckons you can get away with having a 2500 stall and still do normal driving. if i wasnt converting mine to manual id do it for sure. cos standard take off really lacks compared to most of those GM wankers cars. wat diff gears ya runnin?

ok. i'd have to say you would get a sick take off if ya had 3.45s and a 2500 stall. then traction may be a prob. if i were you and i wanted to improve take off in an auto i'd stall it for sure. it all comes down to time and money tho. its up to you buddy.

so u got 2500rpm one ?

With the cam and even when you fit the 3.45 the 2500 stalli will be sweet...the 2800 would have been the real max any higher like 3000 + the lockup is abit to high for normal street driving imo
