Have you ever noticed how much cooler your car is when you fix it yourself?

yeah I agree, nothing like finishing a job and taking a step back and saying FIG JAM..... just gives you that extra bit of pride in your car. And just that little bit more confidence to tackle more......

Yea well, sometimes, as said above, if u win its all good, but if you loose, like i have yesterday trying to replace a stupid door handel and the little plastic clip that joines the rod to the handel breakes into a million pices on me...........grrr F**k.
but other things like water pumps n that that i have replaced make me happy as a pig in s**t.

yup is a good feeling indeed.

better not when you fix somthing broken, but when YOU take .2 or more off your quarter mile time.

at least when you do it yourself you save money and probably do a better job because its your own car!

well when the old man and i service and maintain/repair the fords to the best of our ability, we know the job we done is excellent and that no ones ripping us off with excessive labour chargers, or they the mechanics have said they fixed or changed something and it hasn't been done.

it sure does make you feel better.

I just hate it when you start a half day mod and it takes you 2 days cause of one little error or the instructions were wrong.
