had you unplugged your battery? Cause this could be related to your ECU being reset. Cars always idle funny for a little while after that.

Yeah it sounds like your ZL is "running on" or Pre-ignition. Maybe the timing needs to be reset :?:

Yep, sounds like it may be a vacuum problem (it's weird that it only happened once you got into your driveway), or else try ELfalcon's suggestion.
