Theyre press bent extractors. Better than stock, by far, but wouldnt be better than mandrel bent Pacies, which are pipe over cone, and you can see that these are not.

According to my exhaust shop a 2 1/4 inch will have better low end and a tad better mid range power and torque over the 2.5 inch but u will be making a custom exhuast system which will cost more than off the shelf redback 2.5 inch.

Im not making the car into a racer or anything, just want that extra push if i need it and just trying to get the best for the car for what i already have. its not the extractors fault that something caught fire.. you must of had something hanging loose for it to catch fire?? even without a heat sheild it shouldnt catch fire!! the only thing that runs close to the extractors is the clutch cable (if its manual) even those redback extractors will run pretty much the same path as the pacies and will get just as hot.. .... i would just make up a heat sheild for the pacies if your worried.. |
