Can I replace the coil pack in my ef with the distributor setup from an el? Is there anything I need to know before doing this. I picked up a wreck el for spares and I am considering this along with changing engine mounts.(Hydraulic ones are too exxy). Is there anything else you would consider changing on the ef

You would need both looms, as ef has 1 main plug el has 2 main plugs,

Cheers, as I said I got a complete el (minus bonnet, boot, and a few other bits were rs like water pump etc) Is it more trouble than it is worth to change this( like will it involve major loom re-routing)

yes, dont bother, need to change entire engine loom, part of ur dash loom and the ecu
