as one of them is bent beyond repair is it alrite if i cut the line near the fittings and use rubber hose with some clamps instead of the original metal oil line??

No worries just as long as you use the correct auto lines. make sure you secure them so they dont rub anywhere also.

go to the local auto store and ask for hose that is used for auto transmisson i use 2 hose clamps on each end TIP: when placing the hose over the metal pipe, boil some water in a kettle and place water in old container, place teh rubber hose in the boiled water for a min or so this will heat it up allowing it to expand and slide over the metal pipe!

Best tip ever! I busted my butt trying to get some of that hose on when I did my trans cooler, finally gave up and gave this a try - then they went straight on! |

Flare out the metal lines or the hose will start to leak after a while. I have had this on a tranny oil cooler.

im not sure if people can read buti specifically asked about transmission cooler lines and using rubber hose as a replacement wouldnt that tick your brain as to YES i have one

there are the metal lines bent beyond repair due engine removal and couldnt be bothered to remove them so there a bit oh 90degress the wrong way ahahaha
