Nizpro told me they had alot of problems with the signals being weak from the cam sensor to vary the cams, thats why it cost so much for computer system.Im pretty sure it fits in an au, someone has put one into a el xr already. Anyone know if I you have to change the au cross member to an ba one to fit the engine?

you wont need to change the crossmember they are the same.

you could leave the cam sensors disconected and not run the vct
buy some cams to suit and can still develop plenty of power without the complications.
i beleive thats what most people are doing. and i have heard of RW figures of over 400kw with vct.

alternatively you could just get ITS Performance to do a custom engine for you, or get a turbo setup like pyroay, instead of bothering with al lthe hassles from the ba engine, fair enough you'll be different but for the money its definately not worth it
