Get 2 set of new keys, wipe the old key of the system then program the new one's. check your owners manual for instructions.

you cant just change an ignition barrel it needs to be programed

best way is to get a new key cut , then take it to ford and get it programed. once you have 2 keys you can then program more

just 2 blank keys. either get it cut or from Ford. the shape of the key is like a bar code when converted to electronic form, once programmed in it only recognized that set of key code.

it make you wonder how effective these locks really are

i remember when tibbe locks first came out, big song and dance was made about how much car secruity had been increased blah blah blah ... unfortunately the bloke who broke into my car didn't listen to all that crap, he just stuck a screwdriver into the bigger tibbe lock hole and bent it until the lock unlocked itself then he opened the door normally, i think it would have taken him about 2 seconds max to get into the car

what's the point of all this crap if it can be negated so easily
