breaker bar and some elbow grease.
Or the aussie way... impact socket, breakerbar, steel tube and concrete floor. *fingers crossed* hit the key! I strongly recommend not to use the aussie way!

Did you take the radiator out? This will give you more room to work with.
Use a large breaker bar with impact socket. Wedge breaker bar against sub frame. Remove Starter relay. Jumper starter relay to nudge engine to turn over. (far more control than using the key, plus you are in a better position to see whats happening.)

good new every one the darn thing is off i used the harmonic balancer puller and a pry bar and it cam off easy after i crushed the sensor lol
but it off and i didn't even have to remove the radiator thank god. i used a sheet of tin to cover the radiator and it worked like a charm now just having a little problem of removing that darn seal. it sitting there rock hard lol

no yuo guys killing yourselves go to super cheap and they have pulling that a made to take off you balancer its like 20 to 40 buks its the best investment for your car hell of alot easier go there and ask them for a pully to take off your balancer it clamps to your balancer and with your socket your pull it out it mad

Don't use the "two screwdrivers" trick. I've seen people puncture their timing covers prying them off.
Best thing to do in my experience is to use a proper puller AND a rattle gun to drive it. For some reason when just using a ratchet the balancers often won't budge. Using a rattle gun draws up the tension in a linear and progressive way such that it seems to break the seal easier. I once resorted to (made the mistake of) using a large 2 jaw external gear puller. Popped the external ring right off the balancer! Didn't matter at that point i just wanted it off there. When putting it back use a smear of anti-seize, NOT GREASE, so that the next time it will come off without tears and swearing.
