Evening all,

I have in my spare room 2 cams for my BA, and im hoping to get them installed sooner or later, only question is, i live out in the sticks miles from the nearest dyno..

has anyone had experience with or tuned themselves a naturally aspirated cammed BA 6?

Crow Cams told me that it will absolutely not run if i simply install them and run them till i can get it tuned, and it must be on a dyno as they're very finicky (apparently)

can someone clear the fog for me?

Has anyone cammed their BA and had it run OK without tuning or am I going to have to drive to Melbourne/Adelaide/Sydney and have them fitted by a mechanic over there and tuned at the same place?

Cheers,

Chris

The problem as I understand it, is that the computer goes 'wtf' to the changes the cam's create, and goes into a limp home mode, if it runs at all.

You would need to data log to still know what to do for the tune. People can do it for non cammed cars
