so i just got myself an 04 BA XT falcon last week and have been enjoying the power increase from the maverick:P

after inspecting the car a bit i have realised that i already have a 2.5" exhaust with a dump pipe (quiet as cruising and on the highway but sound nice as when you boot it) and there is some ducting from behind the grill to the snorkel.

now thos thing has an ugly front bar but i will keep that till roadworks are finished on the way to work and i have stocko wheels which will be changed sooner rather than later.

now other than changing the snorkel to an XR6T item whatelse can i do to increase performance, reliability, and/or efficiency?

how would better injectors or spak plugs go and what kinds should i be looking at?

cheers
Rhyso

I would definately go the flasher option as Nick pointed out. For under $1000 and retunable as many times as you like its great value for money when you do mods to the engine. You can get fuel economy and power and theres not many mods that can achieve that.

Some decent extractors, capa flash done taking your mechanical mods into account + new diff with non-stupid ratios will see you keeping with the xr6 turbo boys! It's very easy to get a BA going hard, even the bogo ones!

they are surprisingly quick aren't they. i'll give you a spin sometime pete.

so i'll be getting a bigger snorkel checking the extractors to make sure they are stock at the moment and if not replacing them in good time...and getting a flash tuner. i wouldn't mind an LSD but work is an hours drive away from my place so i need to keep a lower diff ratio to get the mileage.

also on the cards are some rims and new front bar to make her look sweet.

cheers boys
Rhyso
