hey guys, i was wondering if its possible, and how hard it would be to do, to have twin exhaust on an NA XR6
i want something like the one on PSIXR

I do believe it is possible, just have to contact an exhaust place that can do the job of splitting the pipes into 2 pipes to the back, but I do believe there may be some rear bumper modification required.

Not hard at all, cheapest way would be to find a complete catback system from a BF GTP. Remove the original tips and replace with quad tips. I had the exact system on mine about 2 years ago and it sounded really good. Cost was around $300.
You could also use the Redback or Xforce systems (i had the redback after the gtp one) however they are twin 2.5" so you will lose some bottom end torque.

how much would i be looking at for a redback/xforce one?
losing some torque isnt a huge issue, its only driving me to and from work. ill just counter it with something else if i feel the need haha

Ive seen the redback one advertised for as low as $800 online (most exhaust shops will charge $900 to $1000 for it plus fitting) the Xforce is also around the $1000 however it is stainless steel. Not sure how much the mild steel version goes for but i think around $700.
The torque loss is pretty noticeable. Im running a twin 2.25" system now and the car feels much more lively and responsive down low. Then again, i did still manage to run a 14.2 with the twin 2.5s and the sound was much louder and deeper. I will be putting it back on though when i fit my Vortech kit
