just wondering would the airbox (the pod filter one) out of a BA typhoon bolt straight into a BA xr6 ??

Typhoon's dont use a Pod filter. They use the standard XR6T airbox/snorkle with an extra intake cut into the box facing the headlight.

Its the GT/GT-P's that use the pod filter intake.

That I'm not 100% sure of.

I would say yes, as anything is possible with a bit of imagination. I'm sure the shock tower to light is fairly standard. Shock tower to the throttle body, you may need to get a little inventive.
