Hi all, looking to put an exhaust system on my ba xr6.. and a mate of mine has a full stainless steel typhoon set up, from the extractors back to muffler. Anyone ever heard of this set up being put onto a standard xr6 if so how did it work out. Thanks.

dunno if it'd work dude... the typhoooooon is a turbo, I'm assuming your XR isn't. You'd actually lose power depending on the size of the system

the stock F6 system is the same as the XR6T, twin 2.25" mandrel bent

It will perform well on a normal XT/ XR6

Don't pay over $200 for it though

Alot of high end n/a BA/BFs (180-190rwkw) are running the xr6 turbo cat backs. If its cheap enough i would get it.

The cat itself is supposedly pretty good. i read a zoom article where the found the stock system minus the center muffler flowed almost exactly the same as an aftermarket 3inch :)

Bought mine of ebay for $145 then put a hi-flow and extractors on.
Runs no problems at all :D
