Hi guys

Been looking around on here and the net for some info on underdrive pulleys (Power steering, Alternator etc....) I know that the BA-BF have a range of different ones you can get, though I have seen barely anything for the EF - EL 4L 6CYL. Has anyone used them on there EF - EL 6cyl before? Can you buy them anywhere?

Are these going to do the job of underiving the pulleys? Also would I still be able to use the same belt or not??

i dont think there underdrives, there just billet alloy replacements..
if your considering them, first off ask yourself are you going to be reving your engine over 7000rpm? if not, there is no need for these in a normal modded street car and you will find the factory plastic pullies are still lighter than these ones and are fine for every day thrashings..

Thanks Troyman, wasn't sure what the go with them was.....I guess If I had the spare money to buy them they would look ok, but at the moment I would rather buy something worthwhile... some tappets are now in order

Actually they are under drive pulleys.

Two ways to under drive, Smaller crank pulley OR larger driven pulleys.

In that link the driven pulleys are said to be %20 larger.

Yeah that's what I had to get my head round at first thinking with the word "under driven" they should be smaller, but now I am aware that as they are accessories on the engine they should be larger to spin them at a slower rate, unlike say a supercharger which you would go for a smaller pulley.... anyway if I was to put one or both on I assume the belt size would change?
