i have used both ..

a k&n pod and a k&n panel filter..
i dont think the pod makes any difference.. if you like the loud induction noise go for the pod just try to keep it shielded from the heat..

im currently using a panel filter but its up to you....

yeah give him a break hes from tasmania. lol dont bother with a pod unless its cased up like one of the BA ones

Sorry to hi-jack but has anyone tired the mod where you cut out under where the airbox sits and running a pipe down to the front bar to ram air 2 the pod? Id like to give that a go.

been there -done that... works a treat too! should feel how cold the throttle body is travellling to bathurst in 1 degree temperature at 110km/h.. :lol: (obviously after pulling over quickly and lifting the bonnet).. :wink:

i once contemplated that thought too... and my concluson...... "To hell with it!' i didnt chicken out and got hacking away at the metal with the drill and a couple of files/phillips head screw drivers and hammers... :lol:

uni filter actually do a specific kit for some of our model falcons, not sure what it entails, but it's notjust a universal bolt on pod as some of the previous posters in this thread seem to be implying!!!
