update on the blown fuse problem, i removed every fuse under steering wheel right side of dash and fuel pump relay, it still shorted out engine relay fuse in engine bay the moment the key is turned to the on position past the accessory, but the motor turns over without any strange sounds,i'm afraid its got me beat at the moment, so without a workshop repair manual i see no other choice but to take her to the auto electrician, i hope they find it and dont charge an arm and a leg. thanks for all the advice so far.p.s, i'm still open for any more advice, the auto shop doesn't open for another 5 days. :D the prob is fixed $260. later auto sparky found previous owner left tailpipe off therefore heating and melting wireing loom that runs in back bumper causing a short.happy now el running like a dream!!!!!!

I missed your problem so can you redo it,please. As in which fuse and where the fuse is located .If it is the fusible link near the battery then I would be checking all the wiring in the engine bay ie :injectors, sensors ,tfi, coil etc.Cheer Kevman

I had a problem with my engine fuse link blowing. For me it was the wires shorting in the boot of the car. For some reason i bought the car with the wires not taped up, or in condude tubing.
