hey, that looks good. i considered grinding sll the circle mould marks off but then parts would be smooth and the rest rough so i left it.

good idea with the wire wheel

update:

ok not much gone on , on the actual car but the BBM is pretty much ready to go on.

i had some issues when my brother and his GF decided to clean up the yard and my parts so they got scratched ect. so when i repainted them i got some runs which s**t me as they were perfect, but i have most of them sorted out now.

it took me about 20 minutes to completely assemble the BBM... over the next few days ill be cleaning up the motor, buying more paint, ordering more gaskets, then painting the engine bay.

so if all goes to plan the car should be running (with the old gearbox) in a week or so.

im still searching for the engine crane mounts so i can remove the motor and box without scratching it all to s**t.

the painted injectors (used to be black with bits of brown paint on them)

and then the overflow bottle and washer bottle is painted.

thats about it for now.

feedback welcome

ok not much gone one... i got a new job so im working from 8-5:30 thursday to monday so i only have 2 days a week to work on my car... so its going to take a while.

i picked up the head bolts today - $43 the set. i was happy with that.

pricing the rest of the gaskets ect on tuesday.

the oil will be flushed out when i get time after work, then left to dry out/spay with air from compressor, then its getting redone up and head put on with new manifold to see how she runs.

damn thermos still giving me grief... not working with the relays but work with just the + and - on the car battery... im about ready to give up on them...

hey dude,
with the relays i always find i connect them in the wrong spot. so maybe you have that problem. have a look at this diagram. i've found it soo useful. obviously its not for thermos but it kinda helps so u can check if u got power and signal etc going into the right terminals.
