Hi guys, I am in need of a valve spring compressor.
Is any body willing to let me borrow one of theirs? Some alcohol could be offered for use of one  . Need to do 2 cars (both EL's).

Hi mate,
Sorry should of said, its for taking springs off the head while its on the car. If no one can help, does anybody know any places that have them CHEAP. Cheers |

no luck here
cheapo can be bad 
any decent auto shop ie auto1 should be able to get u a decent 1 in have u got something to stop the valves dropping in the combustion chamber?

Yer i have a compressor, mightt need a bit of work though.
I have read a couple posts of people using string or chopped up extension cords shoved into the spark plug holes to stop the valves falling down. cheapo no good then, i guess I will have to keep looking or just bite the bullet. |
