Hi i am curious about how my car will do down the 1/4 and was wondering what anyones thoughts may be. And also i have been having problems with rev limiter with the current work to my motor i have power all the way to limiter but the power dosen't kick in till 3300rpm do i need a vernier cam gear to adjust powerband and how must u adjust them degree wise?
My setup is a rebuilt 4.0L with alted stg 1 cam, alted head with 50thou shaved off, port n polish, tickford valve springs, manual conversion, 3.27lsd |

Dude your car went awesome the other night!
But yeah if you want to shift the powerband down a bit a vernier gear might help out. |

i seriously dought the Gear with help with gettin you the right powerband. its designed to Set the valve timing dead on for Shaved/aftermarket heads

advancing and retarding the cam timing has the effect of moveing the power band down or up
the reason why ford built the VCT I6 although i found myself setting the cam timming to move the power further up with the RPD stg1 cam |

From what I hear, the porting of the head has been great and your car is going fab!
