q: how hard is it to put in? and how much does it cost? and am i correct in believing it allows you to tune the cam in much easier?

It allows you to dial the cam in so it runs as its meant to.
Be careful if you install it yourself, can run into all sorts of problems with the timing chain and tensioner - ask Useless when he comes back!

Easy peezy.
Cost about $80
Takes all of 10 min to install, but about 30 mins to dial due tro alloy head and dial guages are hard to set up.

You will need 2 dial guages, one to find TDC(can use mark on crank wheel, but not too accurate) and another set up on the intake lifter on no 6. from here you can ajst to a desired lift.
Or another way is to get a degree wheel, put on crank wheel and use degrees for your ajustment.

Have fun, its a pain in the a**
