too masny variables to guess semming as you havent told us if he's a nooby at racing.. if the race is being held at an official event..ie)drag strip or is the race hyperthetical? what transmission are both cars? id presume he would get the jump to 50-60 then your falcon would overtake and lose him the longer the race went...

he will get you on take off regardless of transmission but you will be waving to him in the rear view mirror after about 100m.

EF would kick it in top end. common-whores are only good for low end torque....and for seating wankers that dont deserve real cars.

cheers, Nathan

vn's are much lighter then el's and also have a shorter ratio plus i think the s pack might have came with a lsd and 3.45 diff ratio.

Not another.....Why cant people just test it out. If you want to know your 1/4 times and that look at red book.

Like most have said the commodore has a better take off because of the better first gear but 60+ and u should have hime. Come on i took a VY cab the other day.

hi
the vn would probably be a little quicker off the mark but as stated you should be able to real him in.

my ea spac levels my mates vn s for about 10 meters and once i hit 2nd i start to pull away but once i hit 3rd i really start to make some ground..
then after that the commo has no hope..

oh by the way they are both manual...

I think the main answer is that yes, you will beat him... he will get you off the line because they r lighter, and unfortunately to say, ford suck off the line stock but he wont lead for long and u will own him

theres your answer mate :)

of a***, like people have said, go see... worst that can happen is u will lose
