glad you liked the preview of the video the whole movie runs for about 20 min so its far too big to upload.
living out here in the sticks has its disadvantages but in the city you cant go out and do things like this every day!

dude start losin some weight off it

back seats,
spare,
all 3 back doors,
all the carpet cuze it will get wet and smell bad,
any removeable panels,
any thing that will come off the car lose it but dont take it too far as to make it unsafe....

then cut the roof out of the back but leave the front so its like a ute, add some spoties and a rifle bench, but most importantly add some heavy guage wirt mesh over the wind screen to try to protect it

put some biger springs under her to give a better ride hight.

then if you have one attach a bull bar to the front. lose the head lights now cuze they arnt gunna last long any way. do this and youve got a f**k cheap yet mad bush basher

windscreen washers relocated to rear, fill washer bottle with oil. pull the windscreen wiper stalk for so much more extra power it breaks traction!!! :P
+ weld the diff
BOTH FREE!

on a more serious note the 244 came out in a later turbo model (2.3L turbo as seen in 740 etc.)... maybe consider some parts from that at a wreckers. theres so much room in that engine bay too! worst case weld a turbo manifold...

id just rip as much interior out , tune the carby a bit and advance the timing to run 98 octane and rip some exhaust off it, and grind some unwanted metal off the body, front bar/rear bar
