stage 2 doesnt mean anything, however a complete wild guess would be a 1636 or 1673 wade cam.
this is on the assumption that the ECU has no j3 chip hanging off it, and the car seems to idle ok. |

Cheers...nah no chip and apart from the odd wobble idles nice..I think its about normal for a falcon six with extractors and zorst of the mark but seems to pull harder thru the revs earlyish..surprised me to be honest.

I'm just curious - ie. exactly what a cam that's made for bottom end like the 1004 runs like overall - how does your machine go higher in the range then - ie. 3000rpm onward?

The consensus I get is low down cams run out of breath in the higher rev ranges and the high rev cams are lumpy and a little harder to drive down low. Although u can kinda get around it with a vernier and tune |

Although u can kinda get around it with a vernier and tune I understand what "should" - happen - I'm asking someone who's actually driven the cam what they have EXPERIENCED with it...
