stage 2 doesnt mean anything, however a complete wild guess would be a 1636 or 1673 wade cam.

this is on the assumption that the ECU has no j3 chip hanging off it, and the car seems to idle ok.

Cheers...nah no chip and apart from the odd wobble idles nice..I think its about normal for a falcon six with extractors and zorst of the mark but seems to pull harder thru the revs earlyish..surprised me to be honest.

I'm just curious - ie. exactly what a cam that's made for bottom end like the 1004 runs like overall - how does your machine go higher in the range then - ie. 3000rpm onward?

The consensus I get is low down cams run out of breath in the higher rev ranges and the high rev cams are lumpy and a little harder to drive down low. Although u can kinda get around it with a vernier and tune

I understand what "should" - happen - I'm asking someone who's actually driven the cam what they have EXPERIENCED with it...
