hey guys my ford au (6 cylinder) is not sounding the way i want it too,i am currently running genie headers, centre resinator removed, centre muffler replaced with redback straight through muffler, then 2 1/2 inch piping from cat-back into a rear muffler.now i am annoyed with the tone,it has a raspy tone and i want it to be loud and deep.what can i do to get a nice loud and deep tone like you hear sometimes on the 6's. i have already considered a hi-flow cat but im not sure if it will make a BIG difference and transform the tone completely from raspy to deep.any suggestions on why it has this tone and what i can do to get it the way i want. cheers

If you want a deeper tone then fit a mercury brand 2.5" tail pipe that has a small muffler(hotdog) on the back. The pic is a Mercury system they put on the autospeed's test mule EF falcon. I am running the exact same setup except I have a lukey race series muffler up front and the same mercury tailpipe.

This setup up will not drone!!!!like 1 muffler systems and will actually produce a better deeper note.
