seeming as your mods seem to net you a great time down the quater.. and obviously you have raced and gained a quater mile slip.. would it be rude of me to ask if perhaps you could post it up.. im very interested on seeing how well your run was down the track in relation to 60 foot/330 foot/660foot/ half track speed/trap speed.. and reaction times...

Be realistic. maybe on your santa claus dyno.

Just admit 140rwkw is about the limit for a N/A six
140rwkw limit is BS... many have topped 160rwkw to 175rwkw... and not on a jim mock dyno either......

never pays to get too carried away by dyno figures. fordfreak - your sig says 170+rwkw and yet directly under that it says 14.4 e.t. to me that says you don't quite have 170rwkw.

as said earlier, dyno's are simply a tuning tool.

will say your probably judging my 170rwkw forgetting it is just a six after all.. not an eight like youre EB... have you factored in i race full interior? on heavy 19s? super and ultra low suspension? and being an EF FAIRMONT with all the fruit and XR kit adds weight... all those things will work against you.. im sure i could get quicker if a trimmed all the fat off my Fairmont.. so im quite happy with my dyno figures...

NA6's FTL. :D

No slips = no proof. Timing board errors also happen quite regulary, once my 17 sec EB went 12.2.

Its a shame that a V8 torana had the same number as me on that day. It wasnt twin turbo so it didnt run consistant high 8's or low 9's.

EBV8 loves stirring s**t up; every thread is the same. i6 can crack over 200rw/kw in race guise. 170-190 rw/kw is possible for the street..

Wow talk about off topic ..

Yes it is possible to get 160 ... the goal is 200 N/A and the first car to break it will be a champ if it holds together .... But then again all it has to do is run the numbers just 1 time for it to count.

Car weight does come into your qtr times .. I was told by LTDHO a long time ago that the reason that he did not drag it was its to heavy ... and he is right.. his car has how much power (350rwkw??) but yet it is a nice big car with luxury and because of that he would maybe get a 13.5 ??? (all this is a guess .. Sorry ltdho to use your car as a example)

Well Grechie was there and so was a heap of other people.

I p.m.ed ford freak as I have 1 other time before.

Grechie ... was I happy that I ran a 13.77 @105mph ???
... He will tell you I was .. and I was a bit s**t as well as my run before it and after it was crappy wheel spin at a 14.01 & 13.9 @ 101mph

I have the run on cam corder.. does that count ??
and the BA i run against beat me.. thats what sucked.
I don't have a scanner so I cant Post in a slip..... If you don't like the run time then so be it ... only about 80 people seen it ...

ebfairmont like anything else it takes money to go fast .. some people stop at 2k .. others stop at 5k ... some stop at 20k... its all up to you how much money you want to spend .. When you work out how much money you have they take it from there ..
Just remember that if you have 10k .. you wont be spending all that just on a motor .. you will need a fuel system and a gearbox and tail shaft then a diff .... so really all you will be spending on a motor out of your 10k will be 4 - 5k .. and that sort of money will get you 160wrkw on just about any dyno .. 180 on the jmm dyno . lol .

Alright, fair enough, but we'll try this again.
What were you 60 footing at? 660'?
Thats all people want to know, how you got that time.
