a few days ago i sprung a water leak on my EL falcon and after checking all the hoses iassumed it was a cracked radiator. i went out n bought a new one and chucked it on. yesterday after making a short trip i heard water steaming up under the bonnet , and i after i cracked it open i saw steam goin all over the place but i could see that it was coming from some where underneath the air intake and injectors. ive checked all the main hoses and theyre all fine. not sure if its the head gasked cause both motor and power steering oil look fine, not milky. Ive never herd of anything like this before, the car is running on LPG but i dont think that will have any effect on the cooling system.
im absoulutely stumped about where its coming from and any help would be appreciated.

yeh it happened to mine, it was a a heater hose that runs underneath the intake/injectors. it had a split in it, only way i could tell it was that because i could see the split.

water heater tap. pain in the butt to fix cos you have to do it from underneath. best done when your car is cold for obvious reasons.
they sit right under the inlet manifold

You need to get it up on ramps and take a look.
If you are stranded then you can access them with great difficulty by removing the airbox.

How to change welsh plugs:
I've found a few ways to change welsh plugs. here's a couple of ways. 1. Grab a resonable sized pin punch. Using the punch, try to knock the welsh plug on the side and try to rotate it in the hole. The welsh plug should eventually spin around. Using a pair of multi grips, pull the plug out. Before knocking in the new w.plug, clean the surface, lightly sanding it to get any debree out. Coat the part of the welsh plug that will sit in the block with permatex or any non-hardening water/coolant sealer. It's importent to knock it it square. You will need a socket that will fit into the welsh plug. knock the new welsh plug in. It should sit exactly where the old plug was. 2. The second way is to drill a small hole through the guts of the welsh plug. Place a self taping screw through it a pull the w.plug out using a big enough pair of side cutters or multigrips. The first way is a lot easier.
