Just wondering if anyone might know a rough weight of an i6 engine.
Not including manifolds and accessories (p/s, alt. etc. ) Just trying to decide what size engine stand to get, i dont really want to get a 1000kg stand for a 200kg motor. (trying to keep the cost down atm) Thanks guys

well I can lift a cylinder head by myself, but not an engine block or oil sump, my guess would be 100kg

well after some research, and a clever idea from another bloke at work we went to the source.
Ford rate them at 201kg for shipping purposes, so Gaz your 215 with tounge in cheek wasnt that far off

Bare long block is rated around 170kg. So not too heavy.
