I've got the same problem too.
Hmmm I've got a Ford Factory manual here so I'll look up the cam timing sensor and see where it is and how hard it is to change.
If its not that at least its another thing elimanted.

I have a simaler problem i think. When the car warms up it hicups but only when changing from 1st -2nd then 2nd-3rd and sometimes 3rd-4th .All this has started since I had the ecu changed .It started with a quick rev when it changed up from gear to gear .Now when it is at running temp it has a bad clunk with it but if I ceep the foot down it doesnt do it only in low revs.(manly when the wife is in the car ).It also shudders when from slowing down (to turn a corner)to a quick plant on the peddel . What is going on with it ??????
