hey guys i got a sports exhaust with my new car and it sounds like a god darn vacumme cleanner lol.
The car is a EF Futura 4.0L running a AU engine with a 3000rpm stally(the only reason i bought that car lol) When i tromp it is hiss like a vacumme cleaner and drone ERRRRRRRRRRRRRR ERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR sounds crap my old falcon ef I6 had some second had system off ebay without extractors and it sounded WICKED!!! it rummbles like a v8 and when you use gears to slow down from when revs get down to 2000rpm it starts to crackle and pop like v8's. I want something like that again the car currently running pacemaker extractors with a 3" highflow cat that leads looks like a 2 1/2" red back system(just one muffler before diff and all mandrel bent). I was thinking a new muffler for the system would be the way to go to get a better sound. what muffler is a good one to run to get that v8 sound and did i mention i like it loud plus it can't be any loader than this hissing and Droaning setup Thx Jason

If you want it to sound awesome but not worried about legalities then get yourself a 2 1/2" lukey exhaust straight through with no muffler and hollow out the cat. Its the same as my brother has and its an awesome sounding e-series.

My XH runs a straight thru lukey 2 and half inch. Is a touch loud but you just gotta know where and when to use the noise and when to be quiet . Also is reasonably quiet and not droney at 110 odd ks

Yeh I have a straight through lukey and so does my brother. Its not overly loud unless you give the car heaps. At normal revs its actually pretty quiet.

I've had 2 Redback Exhausts, one on an AU XR6 & one on my EF Wagon, both have sounded really good & don't drone..

The EF Wagon doesnt have Extractors & has 2 Mufflers, sounds nearly as good as the AU did..
