When i had a timing light on my Eb with a AU motor the mark would move slightlu in advance of the timing mark then back...... it was doing it at random. I know AUX shaft failier could be one of the reasons but i highly dought it as I havnt been for a decent drive since i put the motor in.
I used a new Dizzy with the AU Gear on the dizzy... What can cause this apart from AUX shaft failuer? |

The ECU...
as in, it's supposed to move around unless you have the timing locked in diagnostic mode.
