Fuel leak? i'd be checking all the hoses attached to the tank and do a visual inspection of the tank itself...

if your smelling it in the boot i'd be lifting the carpet and taking the round plate/cover off and checking the fuel lines on top of the tank

if you open your boot and lift the carpet there will be a round metal plate on the boot floor on the left side.. its about 8 inches diameter its held in by about 8 screws.. if you remove that cover you will see the top of the tank and two fuel lines, one is the feed line and the other is the return line.. make sure both are connected properly and aren't leaking

Check your petrol cap is on properly.
I started smelling fuel from the a*** end of my EB this morning after going for a spirited drive.
After checking in the boot and under the car I was left scratching my head as to where it was coming from.
In the end I decided to check the petrol cap and found that some C*** had undone the locking petrol cap without the key.
Now I know I did the cap up and lock it, as I had the missus with me at the time as I was teaching her how to fill the LPG,
After speaking to the local coppers I was told that there had been a raise in fuel being stolen from parked cars,
I was also told I was lucky as the scumbag C*** at the moment are even useing a cordless drill or screwdriver to puncture the tank and drain fuel.
