that would seen to me that u have blowby issues

a good running engine wont have these issues

and yes i cranked it a few seconds to spread the oil around the bore.
and for build up in cylinder when i shined the pen light threw the spark plug hole it look reasonably good for piston top due to the use of premium fuels and ones and while some 100% octane fuel to them fun week ends at tracks.

Does that little filter get very oily and have oil dripping off it????

So you never changed it to a Grey one???? The later AU1 had the Grey ones, because of oil consumption complaints from owners.

Free oil from work, LOL. Yeah, I haven't paid for oil for about 7 yrs, and I change my oil every 4 to 5 months. Thats how many dribs & drabs I collected for 6 yrs at one place I worked. The other guys would throw it out, I'd get them out of the bins and sit the bottles on other bottles and then when full take them home.
I use 15W50 Mits oil. Its good stuff. My wifes car has had nothing but in it.
Its an 01 V6 Magna with 90K on it.

The grey ones have a much smaller hole in them for starters, don't know about the spring tension inside for the valve.

Holy crap that nice and clean!!!!!

Unfortantly my current engine ain't like that but my old EF Fairmont i reco the top end and i cleaned the life out of the top end rockers and i also took sump off and cleaned out bottom end without dismantling and i cleaned out oil gallery's when i replaces the oil pump with high volume pump it like looked like it was just puled out of a box and fitted to car and ran for few hours it was that clean and i have to admit i changed the oil every 3000km and left the filter for every 6000km like a service on a turbo engines(drop oil every 5000km and oil and filter 10000km.

I'm currently thinking what i should do with this engine just let it go as is and put the turbo setup on and ride it intill i get bigger issues or rebuild it with few extras and wicked clean( get shop to acid bath the whole engine - tappet cover, rocker arm assembly, head, block, sump, timing cover.

but back to subject lol

anyone think anything really wrong with my compressions?

only reason im asking it i haven't been told to much about compression testing results i know how to do them and all but just assessing them results.

so engine seems fine? just some spook wet compression readings that gauge made... lol considering the gauges is new lol

What brand it the comp tester guage??? I've had cheap ones and they were wrong. I have an ABW one, and its accurate.
If you want to build a donk, get another engine, and build that at your conveince/leasure, and do it proper, then fit it with confidence.
If your going to turbo it, then I'd be fitting an engine oil cooler.
I'll be fitting an engine oil cooler to mine regardless.
