im just curious about this plug on the timing case cover on the au 40l..???
what is it for ???

crank sensor, it reads the reluctor ring on the harmonic balancer.

but i thought the crank sensor was the one thats to the left of that one with the two small bolt holes???

Cam angle sensor, it is in the timing case on an AU as opposed to the dissy position in e series.
