Hi there,
Latley my EL has been ideling rough so I have removed the CIA to get a look at the vacuum hoses and Map Sensor. I also removed the washer bottle to get a good look at the area.
Glad I did !!!
Under the washer bottle I found this 2 pin plug. It was unplugged and since plugging it in the car idles perfectly. So just out of curiosity I was wondering what this plug was for.??

Also I found this vacuum hose cut and hanging loose. It is about 40cm long and I know it is part of the AC/Heater. It has vacuum. And it was causing a hissing sound in the car when I turned the Tempreture Controll to Full Cold. When I blocked it off the hissing sound stopped.
Would appreciate if someone could tell me where it is supposed to go.

Thanks Heaps. :D

I assume that vacuum line would be for the heater tap to allow hot/cold differential. That would be the vacum operated valve in the heater/coolant lines.

The other white plug looks like washer motor plug. There is two in most harnesses to cater for wagons I believe. unsure of the two separate ones unless it's for the manifold solenoid.

Thanks for the response. :)
It turns out that the 2 pin plug was for the second washer pump and the vacuum hose went to a small solenoid straight below it.

Problem Solved.
Cheers
