I have an EL Ghia with Tickford 4.0L six.

What mods do I need to confidently outrun a stock VN/VS 5.0L V8.

Extractors/Exhaust, K&N and 3.45 diff?? Will that do the trick?

Just want to know what will do the trick on em. Dont wanna supercharge my car just to beat a 5.0L. Just want the minimum basic mods that should do the trick.

mate they are not that fast, i've got a ef fairmont ghia and raced a 5.0 vn he was only half a car length in front, the driver didn't look to happy, so i's say an headers and exhaust and youl'll have him but if you want to smoke him a cam and CAI :)

5 speed and you'll beat him.
You should already have a 3.45 diff?
Exhaust, extractors, cam and 5 speed and you'll murder them :p.
